Michele Waldron

Psy.D, LADC-I, CSCT.

Dr. Waldron (Michele) would like to help you meet your goals and to feel like your behaviors and emotions don’t manage you. Her hope is to help you feel more connected to yourself and the important people in your life. She takes a collaborative and education-focused approach to assist you with meeting your goals and feeling a more authentic sense of self. She is LGBTQA+ informed and an ally. She seeks to advocate for sexual health and empowerment. She utilizes mindfulness, CBT, and DBT approaches with her clients. Her approach is trauma-informed and works with clients’ strengths.

Michele has a doctorate degree (Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology from Antioch New England University. She is an AASECT certified sex therapist. She is a licensed psychologist (NH & MA) and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (MA). She has certifications in couples counseling and sex gender therapy. Her experience has been supporting people with problem sexual behaviors and addictions for over a decade. Working in the public sector provided her with experience treating those with significant mental illness, various neurodiversities, and legal involvement.

Outside of work: Dr. Waldron enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons as well as hiking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, running, and reading fiction.

Susan Ott

Ph.D

Dr. Ott (Susan) is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Massachusetts and has been providing therapy since 1995. Her approach begins with respecting you, your goals, and your understanding of the issues that are getting in your way. She then uses mindfulness, CBT, and DBT techniques to deepen that understanding. Her objective is to arm your strengths; then work together to build effective steps to meet your challenges and move forward with your goals. She is also an experienced risk evaluator and treater of those with risky sexual and violent behaviors.

Susan is interested in treating people with trauma, sexual dysfunction, couples anxiety, depression, and those with neurodiversity. She is experienced with conducting risk assessments as well as treating those who have engaged in offending behaviors.

Meeting life’s challenges and building the life that fulfills you often looks hard and seeking support is a courageous beginning. Susan will take the next step and see whether she can help you on your journey. Her approach begins with respecting you, your goals, and your understanding of the issues that are getting in your way. She seeks to gently deepen that understanding and will find and help you use your strengths. During her free time, Susan enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Dr. Ott also is fluent in Irish/Gaelic and likes to study, read and speak foreign languages.

Terry Burch

During his more than 25 years of experience, Terry has been helping people build meaningful relationships, resolving conflict, and empowering people to express themselves in their own authentic way. He will work with you at your pace to determine your goals and most importantly to find a balanced and fulfilling path to reach those goals.

Terry is interested in supporting individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual dysfunction, couples, and helping people address sexual health with aging. He has significant experience working with neurodiversity. He utilizes mindfulness, CBT, and DBT in his practice with clients.

Danielle Larsen

MA, LMHC

Danielle Larsen strives to meet individuals where they are. With an empathetic presence that prioritizes comfort, Danielle provides space for clients to work through challenges while offering reflection and guidance. She believes in working in partnership, building trust, and encouraging clients to utilize their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. Danielle uses a number of therapeutic modalities including but not limited to, Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Relaxation/Mindfulness Techniques, and Psycho-Education. A holistic, strength-based, person-centered approach guides her practice.

Danielle graduated from Cambridge College, completing her Master’s degree in mental health counseling with a certification in trauma studies. She is a fully licensed mental health counselor with over 15 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including residential treatment facilities, crisis intervention, structured outpatient programs, behavioral health in a primary care, and large non-profits. Her experience includes several years as a co-responding clinician with local police departments across MetroWest, providing psychiatric evaluation, risk assessment, and mental health resources to individuals across the lifespan. Danielle has also provided clinical and administrative supervision to clinicians and students. 

Danielle’s goal is to provide a safe environment so that individuals can reconnect with themselves and regain a sense of empowerment. This is achieved by utilizing trauma-informed, experiential, and person-centered techniques to treat the whole individual and ensure that what is done in therapy is personalized, collaborative, and unique to each person.

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her wife and dog, family, and friends. She has a passion for nature, hiking, and physical fitness. Danielle loves to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea.

Brad Sylvester

Practice Manager

Brad has been working in Health and Wellness since 2006. He is is responsible for the day-today operations and is the foundation of SH&H. He will ensure you are fitted with the clinician who can best support you.

In his free time, Brad enjoys coaching lacrosse for his two young sons. He and his family enjoy frequent trips around New England for hiking, swimming, and skiing depending on the season.
